Ok, so you’ve got a blog. Good for you. Having felt the mini-trend lately? Original blogging going downhill, not feeling that thrill anymore, comparing your latest feeble attempts with that one great post you created last year, and finding your new one’s wanting?
Stop that. Stop right this instant. Well, reframe it. Reframe it any which way you want to, but reframe it. Now is when it’s beginning to be really interesting, right now when the novelty surge is beginning to wane. What next?

Imagine back in the days, way before wordpress and typepad. People were blogging. The first bloggers drew impressive designs on the cave walls, basically enticing the others in their select tribes, to get them into the groove, before the hunt. If the design looked real enough, the hunt went well.

Since then, we’ve discovered how to add words to the pictures, and render it in html. Same basic thing though. Obey your tribal instincts, your amygdala, and, if possible, add a neocortex twist. If you do your part, the others out there hunting, the others in the blogosphere, in the market, will do their part. Off you go now, draw me a buffalo. Blog.
